Associate Scientist, Protein Expression  

Just is seeking a motivated and creative researcher who desires a significant opportunity to improve worldwide access to biotherapeutics. In this position, you will work as a member of a small but highly experienced and innovative team to develop cell lines for the purpose of manufacturing biologic therapeutics. The successful candidate will have experience with cell culture as well as a strong foundation in cell and molecular biology. Experience in cell line development, cell culture automation, and expression vector design, is a plus. The candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, a desire to learn new scientific concepts, and an ability to work directly with scientific staff across multiple disciplines.

Responsibilities:
•Development of stable, clonal cell lines for the expression of therapeutic proteins
•Technology development to improve productivity of cell lines/processes
•Expression vector construction

Education Requirements:
•BS and 0-5 years’ experience

Preferred Qualifications:
•Direct experience with mammalian cell lines such as CHO, HEK-293 and NS/0 is preferred
•FACS experience
•Cell culture automation
•Molecular biology techniques
