Lab Manager, Microbiology Undergraduate Teaching Laboratories

BASIC FUNCTION:

Responsible for the efficient operation of undergraduate microbiology laboratory courses and for the supervision of personnel involved in their delivery. Responsible for ordering supplies, procuring, and maintaining live bacterial stocks and laboratory equipment, and ensuring efficient and safe laboratory operation. Responsible for the general upkeep of the laboratories and associated preparation and storage rooms. Responsible for developing and testing laboratory exercises and training graduate and undergraduate teaching assistants in lab procedures.
