OPPORTUNITY
Mammoth has an exciting opportunity for an experienced human resources professional who is excited by a broad and diverse workload, and who would like to help continue the build out of the People function. Serving as the company’s first dedicated business partner, the incumbent will provide expertise and support across all areas of HR for their dedicated employee group(s), including recruiting, compensation, benefits, performance management and employee relations. The ideal candidate will have a service mindset and passion for enabling employees to do their best work.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve as a trusted partner and coach to employees of all levels
  • Manage and guide employees through biannual performance review processes
  • Support the Sr. Director of People in managing the annual compensation review and equity refresh cycles
  • Ensure that Mammoth is remaining competitive in its compensation and benefits strategies by keeping up with market trends and suggesting adjustments, as needed
  • Champion justice, equity, diversity and inclusion in the company’s People processes, and provide support to the company’s employee resource groups
  • Manage and properly document employee relations issues with a high degree of detail and integrity
  • Partner with the recruiting team to ensure that Mammoth is scaling with both cultural and technical needs in mind
  • Find and propose learning and development or training opportunities that will benefit employees
  • Ensure that Mammoth’s People processes and practices are compliant with the company’s obligations as a government contractor

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5 years of progressive HR experience, at least 2 of which should be in a business partnering capacity
  • Experience supporting technical teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience working in either startup or life sciences companies
  • High aptitude for implementing, learning and using cloud-based systems (i.e. Google Workspace, BambooHR)
  • Ability to build trust with employees, and operate with high levels of empathy, integrity and discretion
  • Experience using and implementing market compensation tools. Radford experience is a plus
  • Experience taking a company through an IPO or acquisition process
  • Experience with benefits administration
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work both tactically and strategically, and shift gears when necessary
