Job Details: Reviews protocols and provides input on study-specific activities that impact technical areas of
responsibility and ACPRU workflow in relation to other studies planned to occur concurrently.
Maintains professional communications and interactions with ACPRU personnel, study subjects,
and other internal/external departments and keeps Management abreast of issues as appropriate.
Maintains accurate and complete source data in PIMS and/or other source documents and assists
in the resolution of source discrepancies or issues, as appropriate.
Performs study-related protocol activities, i.e. ECGs, blood draws, meals, etc. as assigned.
Maintains safety and confidentiality of study subjects, accurately communicates confidential safety
related information, and ensures that staff can recognize safety related events as appropriate, and
ensures information is passed along to the next work shift.
Mentors Clinical Research Technicians, identifies training needs and conducts training as
appropriate. Participates in quality and compliance improvement projects and provides feedback as
subject matter expert.
Understands and complies with SOPs, FDA regulations, GCP requirements, identifies potential risk
of compliance deficiencies, and provides feedback as appropriate.
Performs pre-study setup i.e. activity schedule, document preparation, laboratory set-up, label
preparation, lab ordering, performance of QC checks.
Leads Clinical Research Technicians on daily activities to ensure study related protocol events are
completed and work closely with management for adjustments to staff schedules if necessary, and
performs other duties as assigned.
Works under minimal direction of supervisor.
Shift : Tue-Thu 1st or 2nd shift , Friday and Saturday 3rd shift.
Qualifications
Associate Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
2-6 years of medical/lab technology experience and/or
2-6 years of clinical or research experience.
Communication Skills – Ability to concisely communicate key issues to stakeholders
Analytical Skills – Ability to assess issues that arise, seek multiple perspectives, gather more
information as needed, and identify key issues that need to be addressed
Significant Work Activities
Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day)
