As an Associate Director, Medical Education you will be part of our team providing value to our global development organization. We serve as an important liaison between Regeneron and the scientific and healthcare community. We are organized in an optimally aligned matrix structure for delivery of therapeutic and functional area expertise.


Your will develop the strategy, planning & execution of independent medical education (IME) grant support and impact. You will thoroughly understand professional education and its impact on patient care while serving as a resource for Regeneron and Alliance partners. 

A typical day may include the following: 
Assessing educational needs in targeted HCP cohorts for therapeutic area interest(s) and provide ongoing gap analyses to internal partners
Developing and evolving medical education strategy, budget, and plan(s) for grant support that align with our Medical Affairs strategic imperatives
Directing and be responsible for the receipt and administration of grants. 
Implement the evaluation of grant requests with Grant Review Committee to ultimately improve patient outcomes by supporting professional education programs that advance scientific and medical understanding of relevant disease areas, clinical advances in the management of disease, and evolution of standards of care
Evaluate outcomes analyses from grant recipients to determine impact of supported programs and collaborate with IME Data Analytics on meta studies determining trends and gaps in professional education
Direct, oversee, and present dashboards and reports for partners on IME deliverables and achievements
Actively participate in and contribute to IME team and cross-functional team meetings
Provide strategic guidance and expert advice to the Medical Education team, Medical Affairs teams, Commercial teams, and partners both within Regeneron and outside
Foster and maintain compliant partnerships with educational providers and external partners
Support and reinforce compliance mechanisms to adhere to all governing medical education regulations and Regeneron policies

•    Have developed comprehensive and integrated medical educational plans that meets business objectives and successfully disseminates education to positively affect patient care
•    Have engaged in collaborative decision making, to complete tasks in a timely fashion, and function in a fast-paced and rapidly expanding environment
•    Consider yourself to have an outstanding work ethic and integrity

To be considered for this a Bachelor’s degree required with an advanced degree a plus with a minimum 8 years’ experience with a medical education/communications/agency and/or industry setting. 
•    Experience in CME, principles of adult and clinical learning, and outcomes methodology is required. 
•    Expertise with medical and regulatory affairs, drug development, FDA and regulatory guidelines (i.e., PhRMA guidelines, OIG, AMA, ACCME, Sunshine Act, etc.) is required
•    Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or medical affairs is desirable.
