Organogenesis corporate headquarters is located in Canton, Massachusetts, and we have an additional site in Norwood, Massachusetts. Our Canton location is the manufacturing site for PuraPly® AM (which heals acute and chronic wounds), and Apligraf® (for the treatment of surgical wounds). Our Norwood location manufactures ReNu® (offering regenerative and anti-inflammatory properties to create an environment that reduces pain) and NuCel® (which provides an enhanced environment for tissue growth, repair and healing). Canton is also the location for Customer Service, Reimbursement and other corporate teams, supporting our full range of products.

Reporting to the Director, Program Management, the Project Coordinator will support the initiation, planning, execution, and conclusion of new projects and work closely with the Project/Program Manager throughout the project life cycle. The Project Coordinator will help to develop and maintain project plans, track project milestones, project performance metrics and take meeting minutes.  In addition to Project Management Support, the Project Coordinator will support the implementation and updating of the Project Portfolio Management software system, working directly with the Portfolio Manager and Director, Program Management. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with Project/Program Manager supporting the entire project life cycle; project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and close-out
  • Assist with the Project Portfolio Management initiative for implementing Sciforma Project Portfolio Management Software System and take on the Administrator role for the software
  • Responsible for updating Project Portfolio Management Software system and running reports out of this database
  • Obtains and summarizes current project information and milestone status vs. project performance baseline
  • Support Project/Program Manager in the preparation of metrics reports and presentations for SC/Portfolio review board meetings
  • Troubleshoots and recommends alternatives and/or corrective actions to Project/Program Manager to resolve scheduling or resource conflicts
  • Communicates project plan updates to team members and Project/Program Manager
  • Prepares change order document and manages change control process for projects – develops and prepares project/program status reports
  • Facilitates effective project meetings, handles change and conflict
  • Identifies and tracks critical path/activities, risks, contingencies, and alternatives and offer suggestions to get projects back on track when necessary
  • Provides project updates to team and management on work performed, plans, budget, and status
  • Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, preparing meeting agendas, recording meeting minutes, tracking action items, coordinating sub-team activities, and disseminating project information
RequirementsPreferred Education and Experience

  • 3-5 years' work experience including 0 - 1 year of experience working in the role of Project Coordinator or Project Planner in Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, CRO or a related healthcare field
  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific, business or engineering discipline preferred
  • Experience working in an FDA regulated environment with project teams through product launch and/or technology transfer projects is highly desired
  • CAPM certification is strongly preferred, PMP desired
  • Familiarity with MS project and/or equivalent Project Planning software tools
  • Experience working with Project Portfolio Management Software is highly desired
