Cell therapy-focused biotech near San Francisco seeks an analytical development leader with exceptional assay development leadership experience. Will be the right-arm and key collaborator working in conjunction with a department head to expand the company’s analytical development capacity. *** PhD or equivalent in cell biology, immunology, virology or related fields.
*** 7+ years biotherapeutic industry experience.
*** Substantial cell-based assay development (or AD/QC mix) leadership experience including advanced knowledge of flow cytometry, cytoxicity, ELISA, HT screening, qPCR, etc.
*** (Experience in viral based assays assay an additional plus.)
*** Knowledge of FDA, ICH, and GMP relevant to cell therapy, gene therapy, or stem-cell therapy.
*** People leadership, guidance, and mentoring skills.
*** Strategic mindset. / Detail oriented. / Advanced problem-solving skills. / Creative sense for addressing and overcoming challenges.
*** Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and flexibility necessary to collaborate effectively among diverse disciplines.
