What you will do

Lets do this. Lets change the world. In this vital role you will support and drive a variety of initiatives aimed at improving the overall efficiency and agility of Operations and Operations Finance. This will include supporting the Optimize Inventory (OI) and Operations Data Strategy (ODS) initiatives as well as leading process and reporting improvements within Operations Finance.

• Act as a key liaison between the ODS team and ATO Finance and Site Finance teams to ensure co-ordination of key Finance deliverables and alignment of the Project with overall Finance strategy and requirements.
• Provide ODS team with financial analysis, data and process overviews as required
• Support Supply Chain and Inventory reporting analytics and forecasting process
• Support OI workstreams by researching and documenting financial processes and developing a thorough understanding of transactional flows in Amgen financial systems.
• Identify, initiate and execute process improvements relating to Manufacturing Finance processes or reporting.

Basic Qualifications

• Master's degree and 2 years of Finance experience OR
• Bachelor's degree and 4 years of Finance experience OR
• Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
• Problem solving and analytical skills with demonstrated ability to identify and solve vaguely defined problems

Preferred:

• Certified public accountant or past experience working in accounting (with preference for experience in cost accounting and/or manufacturing finance)
• Proficiency with SAP, Hyperion and/or other large ERP and consolidation tools
• Experience supporting senior leaders of an organization as an FP&A business partner or in some other advisory capacity
• Experience in preparing executive communication to include written and oral presentations
