The Senior Financial Analyst Contractor will be a member of the Finance department and a key participant in Regeneron's Financial Transformation Project. This FP&A role involves consolidating, supplementing and translating raw forecast data into meaningful financial information for C-level personnel, board members and the investor community. In addition, the Sr. Analyst will analyze financial results, investigate variances, and work to continuously improve forecasting accuracy.

A typical day may include:
  • Assist in preparing annual budget/quarterly forecasts
  • Prepare quarterly actual vs. forecast reports
  • Prepare presentations for Regeneron's board of director meetings
  • Work closely with team members in other Finance groups to explain variances
  • Maintain Regeneron's P&L, cash flow and balance sheet models
  • Forecast various P&L items, including share based compensation expense and EPS
  • Ad hoc modeling projects as requested by senior management

This role may be for you if you have:
  • Minimum BA/BS degree in accounting, finance, or economics with a strong academic record and grade point average
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Previous experience working in financial services, consulting, or banking industry strongly preferred
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills required
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills required to create presentations for a senior audience
  • Experience with Oracle and/or Hyperion a plus
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to listen, understand, read, and communicate effectively, both written and verbally, in a professional environment
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and is motivated to contribute to a team
  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
  • Effective organization and time management skills
