Your ‘day to day’:

As Internal Logistics Executive you will be part of our Manufacturing department at Triaga Inc., and will be reporting to the Manager Supply Chain. The position will be based in Wilson, NC.
In your role, you will plan and coordinate the Internal Logistic Department that is responsible for all materials delivery within manufacturing, ensuring these activities are performed according applicable law and practices and in a most cost efficient way.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Contribute in the elaboration and implementation of the Internal Logistics strategy in combination and in alignment with the factory strategy.
  • Organize, manage and control all internal logistics activities raw materials, direct and indirect materials, semi-finished and finished goods to ensure effective and efficient achievement of business objectives and market requirements.
  • Guarantee uninterrupted support in delivery of materials to manufacturing area.  Ensure waste removal and disposal process. Continuously monitor applicable KPIs and take corrective actions.
  • Manage the third party logistics service providers (LSP) to secure uninterrupted provision of world-class customer service via OTIF orders fulfilment.  Monitor & Control performance of external partners according to contractual terms and TRIAGA INC. standards. Organize regular KPIs reviews with LSP to monitor and ensure proper actions from the provider to meet and exceed Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  • Identify productivity improvement opportunities, set improvement targets for logistics service provider and internal teams and ensure implementation. Participate in new business developments to evaluate impact on existing logistics infrastructure.
  • Ensure that LSP and department employees comply and adhere to local safety measures, fire regulations, hygienic and property-security regulations, policies and procedures in order to increase and maintain health and safety awareness.
  • Ensure work conditions in department comply with norms defined by local legislation. Organize business processes at assigned work area in compliance with Sustainability rules, policies and procedures.
  • Conduct safety instruction, safety traineeship, and safety knowledge assessment for subordinates in cases as required by applicable legislation. Work in close cooperation with Sustainability department to develop and improve departmental safety and job procedures.
Who we’re looking for:
  • University degree in  Logistics, Commerce, IT or Engineering
  • At least 5 years’ professional experience in Operations
  • Knowledge in: MS Office Package; SAP, LES/MES, IMEL; Continuous Improvement tools/Open+; Logistics Service Management; Manufacturing processes’ knowledge;  Security infrastructure (access control, policy enforcement, confidentiality, privacy)
  • Data driven approach (Stock management; Warehouse design)
  • Strong communication, negotiation. Action orientation, dealing with ambiguity, customer focus, analytical thinking, priority setting and strong drive for results.
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken
