VelocImmune (VI) Next is a technology development group at Regeneron that invents and develops state-of-the-art tools for biologic drug discovery. VelociHum is within VI Next and utilizes our immunodeficient mouse platform to accurately test novel therapeutics against human immune cells. We are seeking a motivated, highly organized researcher to support our investigations of new VelociHum strains and maintenance of our platform. This is an opportunity for a researcher with immunology skills to contribute to the development of industry-leading technologies and medicines. 


An R&D Associate, VI Next/VelociHum, will perform two critical roles:

VelociHum maintenance including animal handling, injections, bleeding, and multi-parameter flow cytometry. Novel VelociHum strain investigation including (but not limited to) multi-parameter flow cytometry, cell culture, immunohistochemistry, ELISA, immunoassays, etc.

This position requires a minimum of a BS or MS degree. Strong skills and experience with mouse animal handling and multi-parameter flow cytometry are required. Knowledge and background in immunology is strongly preferred, including experience with multi-parameter flow cytometry and other immuno-assays (ELISA, ELISpot, MSD, cytotoxicity, proliferation, etc.). Cell culture and immunohistochemistry experience is a plus. An ability and desire to design experiments, problem-solve, and troubleshoot independently. Excellent communication/presentation skills and the ability to easily work with different groups is also desired. Ideas and independent thinking are highly encouraged.

To be considered for this opportunity, candidate must have a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ year’s experience or Master’s degree + 0 year’s experience in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or relevant program.
