What You Will Achieve

Candidate will be on a team of technicians, assigned to manufacture biopharmaceuticals within a state of the art facility.  The candidate will be responsible for operating equipment, completion of support tasks and at times the oversight of assigned activities, in order to obtain the production plan of record.  Primary responsibilities will be dispensing of raw materials to support the various manufacturing operations on site. Candidate will be accountable for the required training, documentation and technical completion of work as required in a regulated cGMP environment.  

How You Will Achieve It

Following SOP’s, procedures and utilize automation or electronic systems (i.e. Delta V, AMPS, SAP, EAMS, MES, etc.) in order to operate equipment, procure and transfer materials, and complete assigned tasks in a cGMP environment.  The position will be responsible for performing weigh outs of dry components utilizing calibrated scales and electronic systems.  In addition, may procure materials from the warehouse to prepare for weighing activities in the Central Dispensing Area. The position will be responsible for general housekeeping, stocking and cleanliness of the cGMP facility. Qualifications

Must-Have
  • Education: High School Diploma required
  • H.S. 0-1 years of work experience, preference is in a cGMP environment but not required.
  • A.A. or A.S. in Math Biology or Science (preferred) with 0-1 years of work experience
  • B.A. / B.S. with no work experience required

  
 

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Moderate repetitive standing, sitting, bending, ladder climbing, pushing and lifting (up to 40lbs) required on a daily basis.  

Ability to perform mathematical calculations, follow procedure, complete proper documentation and learn new processes.

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

The role is an 8 hour 1st shift for several months for training and then transitioning to an 8 hour 2nd shift  2:00 – 10:30 pm operation.
