ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Facilitate relationship between site operations, Network Planning and customers including PC1 and its partners
  • Secure accurate demand plan for the site by proactively managing changes and exceptions in multiple systems
  • Analyze and negotiate supply strategy and maintain supply chain agreements with each customer
  • Coordinate customer communications
  • Generate and analyze site customer service metrics
  • Interact with multiple plant departments to ensure that customer service and inventory goals are met
  • Support new product launches, product transfers and change projects
  • Provide input into the site Sales/Demand and Operations Planning process
  • Proactively review materials in short supply and work to avoid stock out situations
  • Manage intermediate and finished inventory levels to avoid RIDS
  • Analyze data essential for continuous improvement opportunities.  Identify opportunities through the IMEx process.
  • Create/Maintain up to date role cards for position to support standard work.  Identify best practices and share with broader team.
  • Performs root cause analysis to identify appropriate and effective continuous improvement opportunities through the IMEx process.
  • Provide solutions to problems or projects and identify solutions that can change the business
  • Ability to lead CI project for the team
  • Ability to identify and lead strategic initiatives
  • Strategic Planning of Resources & WIP Prioritization in alignment with Supply Team Leaders to assure Supply
  • Support audits and provide necessary batch tracking
  • Provides backup support to other DSC’s as needed.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business or Related Fields and 3-5 years related experience
  • Associate's Degree in business or related field and 10 years relevant experience
  • HS/GED and 15 years of relevant experience  
  • Able to provide solutions to a wide range of difficult/complex problems. May refer to precedents and policies. Able to gather, analyze and interpret information and identify cause and effect relationships.  Solutions are imaginative, practical, thorough, and in line with organizational objectives.  Able to adapt and respond positively to situations and people in order to meet changing work unit priorities.
  • Networking & collaboration: Capable of building and maintaining successful working relationships with others. Appreciate diversity of others.
  • Complete understanding and wide application of industry, functional and Pfizer-specific supply planning principles, theories, concepts and practices.  General knowledge of other related disciplines.

  • Lean certifications and APICS certification
  • Advanced SAP experience
  • Advanced Excel experience

Language Skills: Effective Written and Oral Communication

Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft office suite products (Word, Excel, Power point); SAP, SharePoint, and LIMS

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

Some contact with outside organizations and customers.  Represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult issues associated with specific problems.  Interacts with middle manager internal and external personnel on matters requiring coordination between areas.  Majority of liaison is on internal basis with subordinates and supervisors at equivalent level or one level higher and normally involves specific phases of a project or operation.  Persuades others to a point of view.  Works collaboratively with others to gain agreement on a course of action.  Assists in training less experienced colleagues.

Weekend or evening work may be required as supply situations dictate.
