How you will Achieve More with Intellia:

As Intellia advances its pipeline, we are searching for a Senior Manager, New Product Planning to serve as a strategic thought partner to emerging clinical programs and to lead market-level assessments of our programs. You will leverage your understanding of global markets and transformative therapeutic modalities to inform commercial and brand strategy throughout the development lifecycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research, clinical, regulatory, business development, tech ops, legal, and finance to provide strategic support and commercial assessments.

As a key leader within program leadership teams, you will be expected to:

  • Develop and pressure-test Target Product Profiles that inform long-term asset objectives

  • Perform opportunity assessments (including patient-based forecasts) to inform asset opportunity and resourcing requirements

  • Independently drive market research among all key stakeholders (i.e., physicians, payers, patients) to understand opportunities and threats to our assets

  • Working with program leaders and leadership teams, develop integrated brand plans to facilitate long-term resource planning and identification of measurable objectives

  • Proactively lead and maintain competitive intelligence to develop actionable strategic insights

  • Take ownership of and represent the commercial view of asset opportunities at appropriate stage gates and governance forums

  • Collaborate with Access and HEOR functions to facilitate strategic planning for optimal asset positioning and access

  • Be a thought partner and support ad hoc corporate strategy and portfolio prioritization work streams

About You:

This is a high visibility role within program leadership teams with significant visibility to executive leaders. You will be a solutions-oriented problem solver and embrace uncertainty. You will develop frameworks to support teams and functions to enable tractable planning and problem-solving. You embrace challenges and are enthusiastic about the lack of precedence in advancing CRISPR/Cas9-based therapeutics, allowing you the opportunity to help blaze new paths forward. To position yourself for success, you will be expected to have:

  • 4+ years of industry experience in pharmaceutical marketing or strategic-focused roles within clinical development or management consulting roles focused on biotech

  • Demonstrated track record of success and influence in a matrixed environment

  • Direct experience providing input on clinical trial design and providing strategic support to clinical teams

  • Strong understanding of global healthcare markets

  • Experience in developing and maintaining patient-based revenue forecasts

  • BA/BS required (MBA or Ph.D./PharmD preferred)

Meet your future team:

Reporting to the Director, New Product Planning, you will be a member of the Strategy and Portfolio Management Team, which supports the development and implementation of Intellia’s strategy at both the asset and corporate level. While the team is small (~5 team members), we value delivering high-impact work products and utilize each other as thought partners. Despite independently driving analyses and deliverables forward, we are collaborative and enjoy strong cross-functional relationships throughout the organization, including with executive team members.
