Overview of Responsibilities

  • Manage Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) programs and initiatives, and serve as the EH&S lead for the company's Shared Services Center in North Carolina and office affiliate locations in the Americas region.

  • Manage the provision of EH&S services including gap assessments, risk assessments, training, policy/SOP development and implementation, ergonomic evaluations, routine site inspections, and other services as required

  • Manage consultant and inter-company relationships to ensure EH&S services are consistently provided at the regional sites

  • Develop and implement programs, initiatives, and employee engagement activities that support EH&S goals and objectives

  • Monitor site compliance with EH&S-related regulations and influence improvements where needed

  • Coordinate EH&S audits for company's Americas region

  • Assist with incident investigations and influence the development of effective corrective actions

  • Communicate regular progress/status updates to EH&S management and site leadership

  • Participate in company initiatives and perform additional EH&S-related duties as requested

    Requirements

  • NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in an Occupational Health and Safety role OR Associate's degree (or equivalent) and 7 years of experience in an Occupational Health and Safety role

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Positive and cooperative attitude

  • Experience working in a matrix organization preferred

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% of time
