Breakthrough Fellowship Program – Pfizer Global Supply Chain  

This program is designed to enhance our pipeline of diverse talent of leaders. Applicants for the Breakthrough Fellowship Program 10-week internship and intend to pursue their Master of Business Administration degree (MBA), Master of Public Health (MPH) degree or MS Statistics consistent with the time requirements of the program.

 

There are 2 positions within the Breakthrough Fellowship Program within our Pfizer Global Supply business. For consideration, apply to this requisition if you are interested in one or more of the following positions: 

1 - PGS Global Supply Chain Internship: Pfizer’s Global Supply team offers summer internships that cross over all facets of the business. The Global Supply Chain, U.S. Supply Chain & Logistics team is responsible for managing the supply demand and distribution of Pfizer Biopharmaceuticals Group’s portfolio and it is supported by various departments and teams including finance, quality, regulatory, engineering.  Our intern will work in conjunction with these areas on challenging assignments and projects that will stimulate creative problem-solving and collaborative leadership, while contributing to the overall goal of bringing quality life-saving medicines to patients around the world.

2 - PGS Network Development & Performance: This role’s responsibilities may include but, are not limited to the following: Support implementation of Supply Chain & Digital network processes and systems (ie. Integrated Manufacturing Excellence production system) including support of the organization’s expansion into new master data domains.  This position Contribute to PGS (Pfizer Global Supply) Due Diligence process – including site visits and leading risk mitigation. Participate in commercial negotiations including supply agreements. 

 

Requirements 

  • Current Junior year in a College or University studying applicable coursework (business, supply chain, industrial engineering, business analytics). Undergraduate degree attainment in Dec 2022 or Spring 2023 
  • Strong academic performance with a minimum 3.0 GPA  
  • Ability to operate independently and remain focused on assigned tasks with limited supervision 
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
  • Strong organizational skills required to coordinate with business partners both in and out of the organization 
  • Strong written and verbal skills enabling effective communication with all levels of management 
  • Demonstrated commitment to educational and professional development
