In your role, you will be involved in determining customer requirements and translating them into organizational plans. How You Will Achieve It

The prospective colleague will be responsible for supporting several Oncology commercial teams to anticipate their business needs, determine scalable and customizable strategies, and develop solutions to drive business outcomes. This includes having a thorough understanding of a brand’s environment, proactively conducting analyses to address opportunities and barriers by leveraging data and analytics, and rapidly implementing innovative solutions that speed decision making and drive business impact by increasing competitive advantage. Furthermore, the colleague will be responsible for identifying and scaling solutions across Oncology so other tumor areas can seize growth opportunities.

Role Responsibilities:

•        Lead US Oncology’s local-based strategy, primarily for Breast Cancer portfolio

•        Proactively identify and lead development of high impact innovative opportunities

•        Seek opportunities to scale across brands, as appropriate

•        Provide strategic thought partnership and analytic support to BC and other teams as appropriate

•        Develop and maintain tools, resources and reports for HQ and field facing colleagues to support business performance, brand strategies and executional excellence

•        Identify novel go-to-market opportunities and execution strategies

•        Identify novel data sources, drive data generation and explore novel analytic approaches

Qualifications

Must-Have
  • BA/BS required, MA/MS/MBA preferred
    • Minimum range of years experience: 5 - 10 Years
    • Knowledge and deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, broader trends in healthcare landscape and economics. Experience in oncology preferred
    • Excellent analytical skills, including strategic thinking, ability to frame problems and opportunities using supporting data, problem solving and measuring impact

  • Deep understanding of pharma data environment. Data science knowledge preferred.

  • Demonstrated proficiency at leading complex multi-faceted projects and managing cross-functional teams

  • A thought leader and self-starter, proactively identifying the need for specific analyses and programs, and marshaling the resources to evaluate and resolve the most challenging, strategic issues

  • Demonstrated leadership skills, ability to lead change and influence without direct authority

  • Ability to influence and establish good working relationships with senior executives

  • Excellent communication skills, including presentations, PowerPoint/written, meeting

  • Knowledge of US Oncology business desirable
