The Senior Financial Analyst position reports to the Senior Director, Financial Operations and supports the Director, Portfolio Management as part of the Financial Operations team. This position provides financial support to Global Business Services and Enabling Functions (GBS/EF) Digital by ensuring that annual project expense targets are achieved, costs adhere to financial policies and reporting commitments are met to Finance and other recipients of financial information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the management of project expenses to target
  • Manage project accounting activities to accurately track project costs
  • Manage the cost recognition process for submitting accruals to ensure that the costs of services performed and goods received are properly stated
  • Monitor assets under construction and activate assets
  • Administer the ERP Enhance chargeback process

Project Expense

  • Manage project portfolio from approval to completion
  • Provide financial support to manage $212M annual project expenses to annual financial targets (Capital, Operating Expense, Restructuring Expense and Cloud Computing Agreements)
  • Review accruals related to projects to ensure that the costs of services performed and good received are properly accrued according to financial policies
  • Review $13M in accruals, re-classes, intercompany charges and statistical charges related to projects to ensure that financial results are properly stated
  • Identify and manage project variance explanations versus actuals, budget and latest forecast

Project Accounting

  • Manage project codes from creation to closure (350 codes)
  • Participate in master data management activities (project codes, data tables, etc.)

Fixed Assets

  • Track the go-live status for $54M in fixed assets approved but not started and currently under constructions
  • Activate fixed assets globally and locally in the Fiori tool once a solution has been put into productive use

ERP Enhance

  • Administer the ERP Enhance Chargeback Process that captures and charges out $11M SAP enhancements costs to the business
  • Review and submit reclass journal entries to projects or business cost centers
  • Assist with developing and implementing system enhancements to improve portfolio management, reporting, forecast accuracy and usability



Must be able to work on a laptop/desktop for long periods of time


Willingness to travel 10% of the time to Collegeville, Peapack, or NY offices
