How you will Achieve More with Intellia:

Intellia is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Research Associate to join the eDev & TM team! In this role, you will be responsible for executing bioanalytical methods in a collaborative environment working closely with team members. The role includes the performance of ligand binding and enzymatic activity methods across multiple platforms (e.g., ELISA, MSD, Luminex) for both assay development and routine sample analysis. The team is responsible for various elements of the preclinical translational bioanalysis, including data analysis and review as well as communication of findings with internal and external partners. You will have an important role in supporting programs in the early development, preclinical, and clinical stages.

Additional role responsibilities include:

  • Design, implement, and troubleshoot bioanalytical experiments, both independently and in collaboration with colleagues

  • Perform routine study sample bioanalysis to support early development and preclinical studies

  • Participate in routine laboratory operations including coordination of sample testing and maintenance of laboratory sample and reagent inventory

  • Accurately document project and sample information, protocols, and experimental details using Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN)

  • Draft SOPs and technical reports

  • Assist with tech transfer of assays to external testing labs

  • Communicate effectively and thrive in a team with time-critical objectives

About You:

Our ideal candidate is an enthusiastic and collaborative team-first player with a background in ligand binding and enzymatic assays.

  • A background in ligand binding and enzymatic assay

  • BS/MS in Biology or related discipline, with relevant experience in an academic or industrial setting

  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills (written and oral), coupled with exceptional time management skills and attention to detail

  • Cell culture experience and familiarity with GxP regulations is desirable
