As Communications Partner/ Advisor, you will have the opportunity to define, develop and deliver global communications projects while working with colleagues and business leaders at FDB. As Communications Partner/ Advisor, you will have the opportunity to define, develop and deliver global communications projects while working with colleagues and business leaders at FDB. In close collaboration with your colleagues, you will create communications plans targeted to specific projects and desired outcomes, such as promoting company success stories, clarifying our strategy to a diverse audience, etc.

Being part of a small and agile communication team, you enjoy delivering on everyday communication with short deadlines as much as being responsible for developing and implementing larger strategic internal communication initiatives and events across FDB.

You think and act as a trusted sparring partner by providing competent input on best communication solutions and use of channels. At the same time, you also find energy in preparing key messages and presentations and producing creative content for our internal platforms, such as articles, video updates and posts.

You will have the opportunity to shape the content of your job by being proactive, creative, hungry for more and keeping a finger on the pulse of the organization and the communication profession. Your help is crucial to keep up the pace of developing engaging communication.

Job Responsibilities

Your primary tasks will be:

  • Act as a trusted communications advisor to internal stakeholders at all levels of the business, including leadership and executive teams.
  • Be a strong ambassador, curator, jester and protector of the FDB brand as the company continues to grow.
  • Develop communication plans with a targeted range of impactful messages, materials and activities, and then implement and measure results, accordingly.
  • Manage needs of projects with competing deadlines while ensuring on-brand communication of the highest quality.
  • Bring skills applicable to tasks needed to complete communication plans as a hands-on contributor, including writing and editing, project management, maximizing use of our communications platforms.
  • Come with a self-starter, can-do attitude and a flexible and adaptable mindset.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with the following background and skill sets:

  • You hold an education from a relevant field combined with minimum 10 years of experience as a communication professional, preferably from the pharmaceutical industry or an international business-to-business corporation.
  • You bring excellent project management skills, a willingness to ramp up quickly with industry terms and technologies, and the business acumen to empower you to succeed
  • You have a team-focused attitude, along with the ability to work
  • You are seasoned and well-rounded communications professional and have proven your interpersonal and leadership skills that facilitate successful results in interactions with business stakeholders and leaders.
  • You approach tasks with structure, energy, curiosity and a positive attitude.
  • You have been responsible for driving strategic communication projects yourself and experience in change communication will also be considered a plus.
  • You are and at the forefront of new trends as the communicator. You master creating compelling stories, visually appealing presentations, videos and articles that catch the interest of the audience.

FDBU works with technical data, technology and materials that are subject to U.S. export laws and regulations.
