The US Market Access Team is responsible for delivering marketing strategies and tactics in support of Pfizer’s Vaccines portfolio. A critical success factor for the vaccines portfolio is the advancement of Adherence and Reminder Recall strategies and tactics to support completion of well visits and adherence to the CDC recommend vaccine schedules. The Vaccines Portfolio Adherence Lead will serve as the subject matter expert and be responsible for the development and implementation of adherence/reminder recall strategies and tactics across the portfolio for the U.S. Vaccines Business Unit. The candidate will help to ensure that the broader vaccines team has a holistic, cohesive portfolio approach to the development of adherence/reminder recall solutions. The Vaccines Portfolio Adherence Lead will serve as a member of the US Market Access Team which operates in an environment that embraces and encourages implementation of innovative ideas and creates a culture of collaboration and teamwork. This role requires excellent strategic thinking, strong project management skills, the ability to lead and work collaboratively across disciplines, the ability to translate insights into action as well as outstanding leadership and communication skills. This position is based in Pfizer’s Collegeville or New York Headquarters locations and reports to the US Vaccines Market Access Lead.


  • Function as a subject matter authority for Vaccines Adherence and Reminder Recall Programs to help support completion of well visits and adherence to CDC recommend vaccine schedules across the Pfizer Vaccines portfolio

  • Collaborate with Brand Access Leads on brand specific adherence/reminder recall program requirements and development of program resources

  • Collaborate with Customer Facing Colleagues (CFC’s) on reminder recall program implementation and insight sharing to inform ongoing process and program improvements

  • Collaborate with cross functional stakeholder including CFC’s and legal to support execution of reminder recall program customer contracts; manage ongoing customer contract renewal process

  • Create and deliver Adherence/Reminder Recall training programs to Brand Teams, Customer Facing Colleagues (CFC’s) and vendors with plans for ongoing reinforcement

  • Lead the delivery of portfolio adherence/reminder recall program workshops and content for POA meetings

  • Manage RC review and approval process for new and existing portfolio adherence/reminder recall program materials in collaboration with Brand Access Leads

  • Lead management of reminder recall program vendors including Master Service Agreements, annual Scopes of Work, and completion of quarterly business / vendor performance reviews

  • Support the development of annual Market Access operating plan from a Portfolio Adherence perspective

  • Manage direct marketing budget for assigned projects


Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

  • BS/BA Degree Required; MBA Preferred

  • 10 or more years of brand marketing or customer marketing experience

  • Vaccines experience a plus, but not required

  • Demonstrated experience with marketing strategic planning, tactical program design and execution

  • Innovation mindset with ability to leverage insights to strengthen solutions leading to improved customer experience and outcomes

  • Proven track record of success working effectively in a team-based environment, balancing diverse cross-functional perspectives, strong problem solving, leadership, and collaboration skills

  • Strong individual contributor with ability to lead through influence (no direct reports)

  • High level change agility, flexibility, and comfort with addressing and adapting to ambiguity

  • Demonstrated quality in oral and written communication and presentation skills

  • Proficiency managing Review Committee (RC) / GCMA processes

  • An absolute commitment to all applicable compliance rules and regulations


  • Experience managing Adherence Programs


  • Up to 20% travel
