What You Will Achieve
Working with Pfizer’s Project Management team, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the operational aspects of ongoing Site projects, serving as a liaison between key functional areas , project team, and line management. You will review project status, budgets, schedules and preparing status reports. Your organizational and problem solving skills will help in assessing project issues and developing resolutions in order to meet productivity, quality and client satisfactions goals.
As a Manager, you will provide guidance to operational teams for managing projects. You will be proactive in providing areas of improvement for products, processes or services. Through your comprehensive knowledge of principles, concepts and theories of the discipline, you will work towards advancing new concepts and methodologies. You will be able to take a leadership role to facilitate CI projects and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

How You Will Achieve It
Manage and execute moderately complex projects at Sanford focused on CI, commercial, and clinical improvements.
Responsible for scope, cost and schedule with financial accountability.
Lead and manage the project team to deliver the project in accordance with GMP.
Manages and reviews status of ongoing projects, progress with developing new projects, tracking benefits of completed projects.
Establish a communication plan for the project
Ensure that the project plan and execution is in accordance with:
Safety and environmental standards and accepted practices if applicable.
Good manufacturing practices
Develop and maintain project execution plan and project schedule
Track schedule adherence, manage budget, and on time deliverables throughout the project lifecycle
Execute projects in accordance with validation plan.
Ensure proper change management processes are implemented
Prepare and issue periodic cost reports identifying committed and forecast costs
Manage project funding requests and project change order requests
Facilitate resolution of project issues and risks within project teams and leverage IMEx
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or other relevant technical area
At least 5 years of direct experience in manufacturing/technology transfer/Project Management
At least 3 of year’s work experience in a bio-pharmaceuticals manufacturing environment preferred
A mix of hands on project management, manufacturing understanding, and tech transfer leadership experience is desirable
Knowledge of regulations applicable to the pharmaceutical industry for example FDA and EPA
Strong managerial experience in engineering/manufacturing
Proven ability to develop a team of technical resources to deliver on business needs
Managing GMP projects from planning through closure.
Strong leadership and communication skills are needed.
Ability to manage multiple tasks at any given time and working within a matrix organization is required.
Project management experience in a multi-faceted, complex, fast paced pharmaceutical manufacturing operation
Relevant pharmaceutical experience
Experience of working within pharmaceutical environment
Position requirements are typical for an office-based work environment. There are no unusual requirements for this position.
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
The role of project manager typically works a routine weekly work schedule but requires some travel, domestic and international. 5-10% travel may be required.
