During this 1-year program (January 2022, up to 1-year), you will have the opportunity to work closely with a multi-discipline team inside the Operations Improvement team providing strategic business services to protect, enable andadvance our customers ability to supply patients. As part of a non-standard shift, the team focuses on planning, design, reconfiguration, construction, maintenance and alteration of systems facilities or processes.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Perform time studies of the AML manufacturing and services processes to develop/update capacity and workforce models.Identify and implement improvement initiatives to impact productivity, inventories, and delivery times.

  • Perform time studies and capacity analyses
  • Lead Waste and Cycle Time Reduction Initiatives
  • Develop capacity and labor models
  • Perform other IE related tasks required like area layouts, workstation designs, and statistical analyses

  • Pursuing a bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering
  • At Least 3.00 of GPA (General).
  • Have completed at least 3 years of college education
  • Be enrolled in School
  • Be pursuing an applicable degree or course of study

Beyond that, we prefer that the student possess:

  • BSIE student who has completed the following courses: Work Measurement and Work Stations Design
  • Experience performing time studies and workforce models
  • Good interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Able to work with minimum supervision
  • Well Organize
  • Enthusiastic about learning new concepts and work processes
  • Proficient in the following software: Minitab, MS Excel, Vizio, MS Power Point, MS Project
