Sales Executive, Healthcare IT & SaaS


The Sales Executive reports to the Blink Science Inc. Regional Sales Director. As a key member of the Blink Science Team, the Sales Executive will have responsibility for the development and implementation of an effective sales strategy directed towards the selling of the blinkHEALTHPASS™ apps, blinkTEST medical device, and blinkSTRIPS across the healthcare, entertainment, travel, hospitality, and education industries and directly to any corporations affected by the pandemic.

Responsibilities

  • Generate leads and drive product interest through product presentation, equipment demonstrations, and customer committee presentations and one on one presentations
  • Understand, navigate and leverage each department and call point within and throughout their verticals with a high level of intellectual curiosity
  • Develop a territory business plan using industry knowledge, marketing research, and sales experience for maximum territory success
  • Remain abreast with competitive knowledge while being an expert on BSI products.
  • Comply with and complete all administrative responsibilities directed by management included but not limited to activity tracking in the CRM, monthly review of territory business plan, and conference call attendance
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with key clients, including negotiating and closing on major contracts
  • Manage and track leads and opportunities and sales forecasting activity in CRM, as well as other sales reporting activities as assigned, develop/manage short and long-term sales funnel
  • Create and implement strategic sales and marketing plans that successfully achieve business objectives
  • Monitor competitors' products, including relevant sales and marketing data
  • Complete market research and analyze results to adjust local sales and marketing strategy for maximum success

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of three years experience selling complex technology or software in a B2B environment, preferably in the IVD, healthcare IT and SaaS space, with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present strategy and results to executive team
  • Demonstrated skill in negotiating and closing on critical sales contracts
  • Previous experience in sales role with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets

Hiring Company Description

Coupled with vaccines for Covid-19, the world needs low-cost Saturation Level Testing that can be performed by anyone, anywhere, at any time.  Instant testing is the key element to end this pandemic, and quickly assess and control the spread of many infectious diseases around the world.

Through licensing and collaboration with several Universities, Blink Science, Inc. is developing an electrochemical method for use with a hand-held device to instantly read a variety of customized disposable strips to detect extremely low concentrations of molecules (viruses, proteins, etc.) in saliva, blood, urine, and other fluids.

This new testing technology will be ultra-low-cost with comparable results to PCR tests overcoming lab-based limitations with portability for global use.  We plan to ramp manufacturing rapidly for high-volume device manufacturing and produce more than 10 million strips per day using existing glucose strip manufacturing lines to support a broad set of diagnostics for global distribution.

Blink Science is expanding its core technology through patent coverage and developing a comprehensive digital health platform that includes mobile apps for results verification, personal digital health passport, data transfer with real-time cloud aggregation, third party interoperability, and next-generation IP of using MEMS “Smart chip in testing strips” for multi-functional testing.  The company has several notable Fortune 500 collaborations at the present time and growing.

Blink Science is seeking experienced leadership to move this device through an FDA EUA, 510K, and into the global market with consideration for an IPO in the near future. This technology and platform has potential not only for COVID-19 but well into the future for a broad range of 50+ other health and environmental testing applications and available for third-party licensing.
