Talent Sourcer (Contract)
The Talent Sourcer will work collaboratively with the recruiting teams and business leaders to identify and build talent pools enabling the proactive hiring of world-class talent across Regeneron. The ideal candidate will have notable experience in developing and executing sourcing strategies. This individual will also demonstrate a high level of proficiency with relevant technology platforms. We know this is an exciting opportunity to help transform Regeneron’s approach to talent acquisition as an initial member of the talent sourcing and pipelining team. This role is a contract assignment.
As a Talent Sourcer, a typical day might include the following:
Development of sourcing and research plans and experimenting with creative talent research and pipelining techniques
Partnering with recruiters and the business to understand and shape technical and functional requirements, key competencies, and cultural fit
Establishing talent pipelines through referral generation, using external professional networks and alternative search techniques to target, attract, and develop talent prospects
Performing structured interviews and assessments to accurately assess skills, competencies and fit within the Regeneron culture, and promote the opportunity
Building talent communities and outreach campaigns to actively engage talent over time
Reporting out on progress and established metrics and recommending changes in approach supported by the data
This role might be for you if:
You are passionate about the “hunt” for top talent and always find yourself gravitating toward the research and sourcing aspects of talent acquisition
You no longer want to be bound by requisitions but instead wish to focus on building critical talent pools to address the ongoing and critical needs of the organization
You can operate effectively in a “start-up” model, as this is a completely new team and focus for the organization
You are at ease with an abundance of detail and complexity and can align your efforts within the framework of the broader talent acquisition strategy
You have the innate ability to handle multiple projects and initiatives, prioritize them and execute them independently, while keeping all parties informed and engaged
To be considered for this opportunity, we prefer individuals with a Bachelor’s degree and proven Talent Pipelining/Talent Sourcing/Talent Research/Talent Acquisition experience. We are willing to consider exceptional talent with the commensurate experience who have not completed a four-year degree. We prefer eight or more years of relevant sourcing and recruiting background. Previous experience within the biotech or pharmaceutical industries is also strongly preferred. You must be adept at using a variety of recruiting technologies (ATS, CRM, LinkedIn, etc.) to both source and organize talent pools. Previous talent identification and/or research experience within a recruitment agency and/or executive search firm is strongly preferred. We are open to fully remote/work from home arrangements.
