This role will be responsible for leading the development strategy for dupilumab, a key asset for Regeneron. This role has a broad impact, and interacts with almost all areas within the company, including research, non-clinical, clinical, medical safety, development, program management, regulatory, commercial, and industrial operations (manufacturing) to devise development strategies for the dupilumab program and to ensure successful execution of these strategies. The primary deliverables of this role are multiple. Firstly, this role leads and drives the creation of an integrated program strategy through engaging with and including information from all relevant key stakeholders. Secondly, the Global Program Head will be responsible for ensuring Regeneron senior management is kept updated on key program deliverables and information, via discussions, presentations, and other means, to enable high-level program strategy decisions. Lastly, the global program head leads the asset strategic program team and is responsible for program oversight and execution.

As Global Program Head, Dupilumab, your typical day might include:

-  Identifying and aligning all of the key stakeholders across REGN (and development partner) and ensure they are engaged and included in the development of robust program strategies.

-  Providing sound strategy guidance for program therapeutic area development strategies inclusive of research, clinical, regulatory, supply (includes tox, clinical and commercial materials) and commercial needs.

-  Ensuring that scientific rigor and innovation continues to be integrated into and drives program development strategies.

-  Driving broader cross functional perspectives in the creation of program development strategies: scientific rationale, operational feasibility, budget, timeline, and an understanding of the competitive and commercial landscape.

-  Adeptly translating development program strategies/recommendations and concepts between the program team and senior management.

-  Representing Regeneron at dupilumab joint governance committees.

-  May be requested to support development activities for other programs within the Immunology and Inflammation therapeutic area.


THIS ROLE MIGHT BE FOR YOU IF: 


-  You have the ability to work effectively with development partner and multiple stakeholders-both internal and external.

-  You can thrive in a highly matrixed environment and can influence at the most senior levels within the organization. 

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have an MD, PhD, PharmD and/or 15 years of experience with broad drug development. You must have a proven track record in leading a program forward through development milestones and/or approval in a biotechnology/pharmaceutical company; Experience or knowledge of biologics strongly preferred. Expert knowledge of the competitive landscape and general regulatory requirements for drug approval needed. Must be able to build and nurture a high-functioning team and drive a program forward. Must have demonstrated strategic vision in support of development programs. You must also possess strong analytical abilities and be a critical thinker who can present to and hold their own with senior management. Must be able to interpret and understand critical data. Ability to anticipate and identify program risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
