Commercial Insights Senior Associate (V&A Analytics) - Market Access

The Commercial Insights Senior Associate is responsible for providing varied commercial analytics to provide insights around Managed Markets through secondary data analytics and data integration. The Commercial Insights Senior Associate will work under the guidance of a senior member of the Commercial Insights Team to deliver for the assigned assets, as well as with the director on cross brand initiatives. Guided by a senior member of the team, the individual in this role will deliver analysis using claims data, prescription data, Patient claims data and other internal/external data sources.

This position reports to a Senior Manager of Value & Access Analytics for Market Access within Value & Access- Analytics and Insights team

Job Responsibilities:

• Produce and deliver regular performance dashboards based on complex data sources, including claims data, payer rebate data, DDD data and IDN affiliations data
• Provide analytics support to field-based market access teams
• Understand pharmaceutical ecosystem and data sets including medial and pharmacy claims (ex. IQVIA LAAD, Symphony Claims), prescription (ex. IQVIA NPA), outlet (ex. IQVIA DDD)
• Create data analytics models to generate strategic measurable business insights using SQL, R, Python and Microsoft Excel
• Prepare, publish and continuously refine reports and data visualization tools tracking performance against business objective using Tableau
• Perform advanced analytics including longitudinal patient level analysis, time series modeling, customer segmentation and issue diagnostics in support of business questions
• Provide ad hoc analysis in response to business questions

Basic Qualifications:

• Masters degree

OR

• Bachelors degree and 2 years of relevant analytics experience

OR

Associates degree and 6 years of relevant analytics experience

OR

• High school diploma / GED and 8 years of relevant analytics experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of marketing analytics in the pharmaceutical industry
• Experience with advanced spreadsheets and automated data visualization software (e.g. Tableau, Spotfire)
• Experience in database languages (e.g. SQL)
• Ability to think strategically to support key business decisions
• Ability to work collaboratively in team-based environment across different functional groups
• Demonstrated analytical skillsunderstands the strengths and limitations of different analytical approaches and their findings
• Skill in handling multiple responsibilities, priorities, tasks and projects simultaneously
