Contracts & Pricing Senior Manager, Coverage LeadLive

Lets do this. Lets change the world! In this vital role the Contracts & Pricing Senior Manager, Coverage Lead, is a critical member of the Retail Coverage and Pricing team. This individual will be responsible for developing the payer coverage and pricing contracting strategies for Aimovig in partnership with the Aimovig pricing lead and Retail coverage and pricing director. This includes leading qualitative and quantitative contracting analyses to support payer strategy and drive decision making. This individual will interact frequently with the Market Access team supporting Aimovig-specific contract negotiations with payer customers, track and communicate progress towards payer coverage goals, and partner with Market Access and field sales teams to maximize pull-through. Finally, the Senior Manager will play a critical role in shaping the long-term coverage and pricing strategy for the brand in support of brand long range planning.

Important to this role will be the ability to lead a broad cross-functional team to ensure alignment of strategy and execution, including NuBU brand team members, Medical, Patient Access, Contracting, Value Marketing, and Value & Access Data and Analytics. This individual will also work closely with the Aimovig Pricing Sr. Manager to ensure coverage goals are included in product forecasts and current brand coverage data are included in key processes including LEDR.

We are open to candidates willing to relocate to Thousand Oaks and will consider remote working arrangements. Relocation benefits would be available for candidates willing to relocate to Thousand Oaks.

In addition to the responsibilities outlined above:
  • Lead meetings to ensure alignment to LRS strategy and execution of the plan with cross-functional teams including Brand, Market Access, Value Marketing, GHE, Patient Access, Medical, Trade, and Policy

  • Proactive support with bi-annual strategic LRS/brand planning and quarterly business reviews

  • Conduct regular meetings with Market Access team to align on account level payer strategy and negotiations for Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and government bids

  • Collaborate with Patient Access and brand teams to maintain/develop patient support programs in real-time for pull-through opportunities

  • Collaborate with Value Marketing team to create Aimovig specific value strategy, messaging, tools for Market Access Team and data generation plan in alignment with brand strategy

  • Triage Coverage & Pricing related questions and issues and ensure that items are addressed including training where needed for sales and Market Access account teams

  • Coverage & Pricing budget management

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree and 2 years of experience in either sales, marketing, contracting and/or pricing, finance, accounting, analytics, healthcare, or sales operations

Or

Master's degree and 4 years of experience in either sales, marketing, contracting and/or pricing, finance, accounting, analytics, healthcare, or sales operations

Or

Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience in either sales, marketing, contracting and/or pricing, finance, accounting, analytics, healthcare, or sales operations

Or

Associate's degree and 10 years of experience in either sales, marketing, contracting and/or pricing, finance, accounting, analytics, healthcare, or sales operations

Or

High school diploma / GED and 10 years of experience in either sales, marketing, contracting and/or pricing, finance, accounting, analytics, healthcare, or sales operations

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in contracts and pricing, direct payer experience or value marketing and have a good foundational understanding of the US payer environment and a strong foundation in the U.S. healthcare market

  • Excellent conceptual problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to bring structure to vaguely defined problems, pragmatic problem solving approach, and manage execution.

  • Authoritative command of complexity and ambiguity; ability to see the big picture; ability to collect, digest and assemble information to enable relevant business analyses

  • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to influence different styles

  • Previous experience building financial models and/or working with large amounts of data

  • Experience navigating the evolving U.S. healthcare system with specific interest on the interactions between Government and Healthcare.

  • Exceptional written/oral communication skills and executive presence across functions and across different levels of leadership
