SUMMARY
Analytical development associate director position withba cutting-edge Bay Area cell therapy startup that values its culture as much as its science. The company seeks to expand its analytical development management capacity due to several advancing programs and a new partnership. The role requires a strategic mindset and exceptional troubleshooting and communication skills and requires several years (7+) focused in analytical development (or analytical development & quality control) for gene therapies, stem-cell therapies, or cell therapies; also, a track record that includes a) overseeing the development of release and characterization assays for clinical-track cell therapies, b) overseeing successful assay transfers to QC,  and c) regulatory knowledge in FDA, ICH, and GMP guidelines. Reports in a "right-arm" capacity to a collaborative department head who values a strategic mindset and advanced problem-solving skills. QUALIFICATIONS
PHD or MS in a relevant scientific discipline.
