Freenome is hiring a Director of Marketing, Partner and B2B. The newly created role reports to the Vice President, Marketing, and is responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to generate and operationalize key corporate and channel partnerships.

This highly entrepreneurial role will work cross-functionally, especially with our Market Development, Business Development, and future Sales teams, with the opportunity to build and lead a team as we grow.  This work is critical to both Freenome’s near- and long-term success by developing the early partnerships that will become the foundation of future growth as our product moves towards commercialization.

How you’ll contribute:

  • Develop and execute cross-functional marketing plans to drive awareness, create demand, nurture, and educate potential corporate partners and customers about our company and products 
  • Develop and disseminate partner and sales enablement materials, including content and tools that educate partners, customers, and patients on our company and product, and lead team trainings
  • Create compelling storylines that succinctly articulate the value proposition of Freenome’s solutions and differentiate our products and solutions 
  • Develop and execute campaigns to well-defined audiences through the appropriate channels, using digital, inside sales, email, and other channels
  • Conduct market and customer research to understand our customer and partner needs.

What you’ll bring: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business, analytical, technical, or scientific field, MBA preferred
  • At least ten years of experience in a strategic marketing role in biotech, pharma, or healthcare
  • Exceptional storyteller and communicator capable of explaining complex scientific and technical concepts in simple terms
  • Ability to thrive in an early-stage environment, with a near-term bias for action coupled with a mindset to plan for long-term success
  • Outstanding cross-functional leadership skills, with proven experience managing complex projects through influence
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: self-starter, comfort with ambiguity, strong problem-solving skills

Our Science

Freenome is building technology to advance the understanding of cancer through multiple analytes derived from blood. These signals include cell-free DNA, methylation of cell-free DNA, cell-free RNA, circulating proteins, and immune profiling derived from thousands of prospective samples. By developing novel statistical learning methods and applying them to integrate various -omics datasets, Freenome is a leader in modeling specific biological mechanisms to capture disease-dependent signatures, including gene expression, immune response, tumor burden, the tissue of origin, and 3D chromatin structure. 

By building comprehensive discovery datasets and modeling critical biological systems, Freenome is learning what biological changes are present within the blood between a variety of different disease states, including cancer, autoimmune disorders, infections, drug response, and aging. The synthesis of Freenome’s datasets, cross-functional technical expertise, and audacious mission to discover biological truth, we seek to improve the lives of millions through early detection and early treatment of disease.
