Director, Melanoma Marketing

• Braftovi (encorafenib) and MEKTOVI (binimetinib) are key to the Pfizer Oncology Precision Medicine franchise, with a strong future
• The portfolio covers three indication:
  • Metastatic Melanoma: BRAFTOVI+MEKTOVI received approval in BRAF mutant metastatic melanoma in 2018
  • Colon Cancer: BRAFTOVI + cetuximab received approval in BRAF mutant metastatic colorectal cancer April 2020
  • Lung Cancer: Approval is expected in BRAF mutant metastatic lung cancer in 2022
• There is a robust lifecycle plan, including ongoing clinical trials in several patient populations and disease states
• BRAFTOVI+MEKTOVI is now the market leading targeted therapy in melanoma with ~50% market share; melanoma contributes to 80% of franchise revenue.  
• The Director, Melanoma Marketing will report to the US Melanoma & CRC Marketing Lead
• This position requires strong strategic, analytical and execution skills, interpersonal and communication skills, and agility to learn and work across multiple stakeholders.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

The Director, Melanoma Marketing will partner with the melanoma indication lead and franchise leadership to deliver on key BRAFTOVI + MEKTOVI strategies and tactics as well as lead peer to peer strategy across the portfolio. Responsibilities include:

• Melanoma Marketing
  • Develop and maintain perspective on performance across top accounts; develop and deploy indication-focused account marketing tactics
  • Leading efforts for commercialization of companion diagnostic in collaboration with external partner (launch expected in Dec 2021)
  • Serving as Real World Evidence liaison with Global and HEOR; drive tactics to support dissemination of Real-World data as appropriate
  • Lead development and execution of melanoma HCP media plan
  • Monitor placement on guidelines / pathways and partner with key cross-functional partners to uncover opportunities and develop action plan
  • Managing projects through CEP, RC, etc. to ensure impact and compliance
  • Peer to Peer Strategy
    • Leading peer to peer strategy and planning efforts at the portfolio level in collaboration with indication leads (including pan tumor content creation and execution)
    • Developing and deploying creative and targeted melanoma peer to peer programs in partnership with OLL and Medical

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• BA/BS required
• 10 years of pharmaceutical marketing or sales experience
• Strong project management skills, including ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to translate strategy and analysis to a tactical, executable level to drive brand success
• Strong team player with demonstrated ability to collaborate with experts from cross-functional areas
• Strong business acumen with excellent verbal and written communication skills for a wide variety of audiences, including senior management, including negotiation skills
• Proven track record of synthesizing complex information and distilling critical customer insights
• High-energy, proactive self-starter who has the initiative to function autonomously and the confidence and ingenuity to initiate, create and innovate
• Detail and action oriented; strong analytical skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage advertising and other agencies to produce communications that impact business performance
   

  PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Advanced degree preferred
• Previous in-line US/global Marketing experience preferred
