Temp - HCP Contracting Specialist

The HCP Engagement and Contracting temporary employee will provide a business critical function to the Teams responsible for Consultants and Speakers who provide services on behalf of Regeneron.  Specifically, this individual will support the Due Diligence process for HCP Consultants.  This person will be responsible to perform in-depth background checks of HCPs prior to contracting, then on a quarterly basis throughout the calendar year  They will also be responsible for assisting the Senior Manager of HCP Contracting in processing payments to HCPs and creating HCP profiles within our contracting system.

•  Conduct comprehensive background searches of Consultants and Speakers using 
   Regeneron’s resources, public databases and Thomson Reuters Risk ID tool.
•  Process confidential personal information for Consultants and Speakers with the utmost 
   integrity and discretion.
•  Assist HCP Contracting team and Speaker team with documentation of search results and 
   communicate/escalate findings to Legal and/or Compliance as appropriate.
•  Stay abreast of all applicable Regeneron policies, procedures and government regulations 
   (federal, state and international) related to Due Diligence prior to contracting HCPs, 
   thereby supporting risk mitigation for Regeneron.
•  Assist in ad hoc HCP Consultant assignments as related to the comprehensive HCP 
   contracting process, as needed.
•  Prepare and submit payment request packets to Accounts Payable, while ensuring all 
   supporting documentation is included and compliant with Regeneron policies.
•  Collect and consolidate required close-out documents for Consultants and Consultant 
   Engagements.
