ROLE SUMMARY

The Senior Manager, Analytics & Innovation will be part of Pfizer Corporate Audit’s internal team dedicated to enhancing the department’s capabilities through the use of analytics, digital technologies and greater access to data throughout finance, commercial, information technology, research & development and manufacturing audit processes.  They will use their technical skills to collaborate with audit teams in the execution of best in class audit procedures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the identification and implementation of analytical and other cutting-edge tools and techniques in the execution of the annual internal audit plan for Pfizer Inc.  This position will also play a key role in driving a culture of innovation and advancing the analytics and digital strategy across Corporate Audit.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Complexity & Scope

  • Develops ideas and analytical approaches and leads/co-leads complex projects across Corporate Audit
  • Responsible for the technical design and development of digital solutions to support various audit projects
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with key stakeholders from other Pfizer functions including, Digital, Finance, Compliance, Global Business Solutions
  • Leads operational team(s) on analytical and digital projects within and across corporate audit functions
  • Takes responsibility for the team's milestones/ deliverables and manages plans to achieve them
  • Responsible for partnering with Pfizer Digital in the enhancement and refinement of existing analytics platform

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree required. A degree in a quantitative or business-related field such as statistics, finance, mathematics, or economics is preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in data analytics and/or data sciences
  • Expert knowledge of Data Analytics like SQL, Spotfire, R Studio, Python or others
  • Expert knowledge of relational SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge with data visualizations tools.  Advanced knowledge of Spotfire preferred.
  • Knowledge of ETL tools
  • Experience with AWS cloud services is a plus
  • Ability to Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
  • Build data analytics models and understanding machine-learning algorithms
  • Ability to conduct independent problem solving and data exploration analysis
  • Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to understand the underlying business problem, perform full cycle data analysis and propose recommendations and solutions
  • Good at understanding and presenting information using data visualization techniques like charts, graphs, and matrixes
  • Familiar with compliance/audit analytics and strong ability to carry out analysis related to compliance journey, transaction activity, and other digital analytics
  • A curious and highly motivated self-starter who can work effectively across cross-functional teams and reverse engineering the data flow understanding

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to navigate in ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
  • Knowledge and/or experience in anti-corruption/anti-bribery compliance a plus
  • Type of industry/organizations: Big 4 Public accounting and/or internal auditing; multi-national pharmaceutical experience a plus; international experience a plus
  • Financial or audit experience or background a plus
