Nurix Therapeutics is a biopharmaceutical company focused on the discovery, development and commercialization of small molecule therapies designed to modulate cellular protein levels as a novel treatment approach for cancer and immune disorders. Nurix’s drug discovery approach is to either harness or inhibit the natural function of E3 ligases within the ubiquitin proteasome system to selectively decrease or increase cellular protein levels.

Nurix’s wholly owned pipeline comprises targeted protein degraders of Bruton’s tyrosine kinase, a B-cell signaling protein, and inhibitors of Casitas B-lineage lymphoma proto-oncogene-B, an E3 ligase that regulates T cell activation. Nurix is headquartered in San Francisco, California.

Position

• You will be a key member of the Contracts Team in a growing Legal Department.
• You will be drafting and negotiating a broad range of agreements (e.g., consulting agreements, master service agreements, manufacturing agreements, quality agreements, clinical trial agreements, and the like) to support research, clinical, finance and IT departments.
• You will be building out various template agreements and associated playbook.
• You will be assisting with the contracts workflow including managing the contracts inbox; and,
• You will be assisting in various projects on behalf of the Legal Department.

• Proven ability to understand and digest complex agreements in order to identify relevant issues and risks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor of Arts or Science degree
• Minimum of five years negotiating and drafting commercial agreements, with at least 2 years of clinical trial negotiating and drafting experience
