The Manager, Medical Information will oversee all Medical Information activities for Lundbeck US products.  This will include oversite of the development and approval of such documents as the standard and custom medical letters, clinical dossiers, and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs).  The position will also provide oversite and direction to the US-based medical information call center and as well as serve as the US Medical Information point-person for Global Medical Affairs.



  • Directs the workload of the Medical Information team, contractors, and vendors; forecasts and effectively manages resource assignments of the Medical Information department based on business objectives
  • Oversees quality of Medical Information resources by assuring review and approval of resources that are created by Medical Information team, contractors, or vendors
  • Oversees turn-around-time of medical inquiries, and makes process improvements as necessary
  • Provides oversite and managment of all aspects of the US Medical Information Call Center
  • May have to perform standard Medical Information responsibilities, including, but not limited to:
    • Provide review and editing support for standard and custom response letters created by vendors or Med Information staff
    • Develop, maintain, and provide high quality medical and scientific information, including standard and custom response letters, clinical dossiers, and FAQs 
    • Support product booths at professional and scientific meetings
  • Maintains understanding of Lundbeck US products regarding labeling and publications
  • Serves as the Medical Information point-person for the broader Lundbeck US organization and Global Medical Information
  • Manages budget and contracting as related to Medical Information activities
  • Maintains understanding of Lundbeck US products regarding labeling and publications
  • Identifies and develops process improvements to enhance Medical Information team and department efficiencies
  • Other duties as assigned.



  • Advanced scientific degree (Pharm.D., Ph.D, MD, MMedSci)
  • 3+ years of healthcare experience
  • 2+ years of Medical Information experience
  • Thorough knowledge of Medical Information materials and resource; ability to perform complete literature searches for fulfillment of medical information inquiries
  • Ability to critically evaluate, context and synthesize the medical literature is imperative
  • Working knowledge of regulatory guidelines
  • Must pursue the highest level of accuracy in attention to smallest details

  • Specialty residency training in Drug Information
  • Experience with evaluating medical literature



  • Willingness/Ability to travel up to 10% domestically. International travel may be required.
