Associate, Cybersecurity Analytics - Infrastructure and Operations

ROLE SUMMARY

The Enterprise Platforms & Security (EP&S) team delivers the following capabilities for Pfizer. Business application platforms supporting Pfizer’s enterprise application and critical business processes.  Infrastructure allowing business traffic to travel where it needs to go, internally and externally, along with the appropriate access controls.  EP&S secures Pfizer's most important information assets through world class controls and protections and enables Pfizer's business results by making security an enabler and not a roadblock to achieving business results.

The Associate, Cybersecurity Analytics – Infrastructure and Operations will perform day to day support functions for the cybersecurity analytics infrastructure and platform.  Specific responsibilities include performing routine system maintenance functions, responding to incident tickets, identifying opportunities to better address recurring issues, and updating related support documentation.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process incident tickets in accordance with defined support procedures
• Execute defined periodic review functions to ensure services operate as designed
• Identify inaccurate support documentation and assist with associated updates
• Suggesting improvements in the tools and techniques to help drive efficiency
• Execute against project plans as necessary to implement analytics driving increased cybersecurity posture

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information systems, or engineering Required

- No require years’ experience working in a business/corporate environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Willingness to contribute fresh and innovative ideas

- High technical aptitude; quickly learns new skills

- Experience with Linux (configuration and troubleshooting)

- Experience with scripting in Python

- Experience with SQL and relational database administration

- Change agile; must take action on project quickly

- Team oriented

- Excellent oral and written communication skills

- Excellent attention to detail

- Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills
