Contracts Manager

Bolt Biotherapeutics is seeking a Contracts Manager to join our legal team and play a key role in negotiating and managing Bolt’s contracts. The Contract Manager will draft and negotiate contracts; oversee our contracts database and act as a key point of contact for the company for contracts requests.

Responsibilities

• Draft, revise, review and negotiate commercial and business contracts, including CDAs, amendments, consulting agreements, and statements of work.

• Conduct intake of contract requests and assist internal requestors to select the appropriate contract.

• Manage end to end contract process from intake to signing to storage in the contract database.

• Capture metadata and conduct quality control on contracts prior to storage in the database

• Serve as key point of contact for both internal partners and external parties.

• Train internal partners on using the system and best practices.

• In partnership with the Commercial Counsel, create and update the contracts management system, including automating templates and fall back terms.

• Improve the contracts process to increase efficiency

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certification

• At least 3 years’ experience in negotiating commercial and business contracts

• Excellent drafting and contract negotiation skills

• Experience with a contracts lifecycle management system required. Experience with Corridor Contracts 365 preferred.

• Meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Ability to prioritize and work under tight deadlines

• Ability to work independently

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint

• Experience in a life science, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology company preferred.
