About BridgeBio

BridgeBio is a biopharmaceutical company founded to discover, create, test, and deliver transformative medicines to treat patients who suffer from genetic diseases and cancers with clear genetic drivers. We bridge the gap between remarkable advancements in genetic science in academic institutions and the delivery of meaningful medicines to patients. Founded in 2015, the company has built a portfolio of 30+ drug development programs ranging from preclinical to late-stage development in multiple therapeutic areas including genetic dermatology, precision oncology, cardiology, endocrinology, neurology, pulmonology, and renal disease, with two approved drugs.

Our focus on scientific excellence and rapid execution aim to translate today’s discoveries into tomorrow’s medicines. We have U.S. offices in San Francisco, Palo Alto, Boston, New York, and Raleigh, with small satellites in other parts of the country. We also have international offices in Montreal, Canada, and Zug, Switzerland, and are expanding across Europe.

Who You Are:

BridgeBio is recruiting for two stealth programs that are not yet announced. The first company is developing treatments for a rare disease that causes extreme sensitivity to sunlight. Patients with this disease experience excruciating internal burns after even a few minutes in the sun, and so spend their lives almost entirely inside.

Our first-in-class disease-modifying treatment is in preclinical development and moving quickly - we are aiming for the first dose in humans in a little over a year.

We are hopeful that this therapy could allow patients to live a fully normal life. This role will rapidly give a view of the whole cycle of drug development, from late candidate selection through clinical development within the next two to three years.

The second company is developing a treatment for a severe rare neurological disorder characterized by progressive ataxia and loss of cerebellar brain tissue caused by the defect of a critical enzyme.

This discovery-phase program is focused on proving the treatment mechanism and identifying a lead drug to bring into the clinic to treat patients who currently have no options. This role requires a strong scientific bent as well as a business toolkit and will be in close collaboration with bench scientists to optimize and de-risk the treatment.
