Our Opportunity.

We are seeking an associate scientist to join the Antibody and Protein Engineering Department at Innovent Bio. This individual will drive the advancement of novel therapeutics by developing novel bispecific molecules across multiple therapeutic areas such as oncology, auto-immune disease, metabolism and cardiovascular in our new state-of-the-art research facility located in Rockville, Maryland. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in protein expression and biochemical characterization. You will be collaborating with committed scientists in US and China sites in a science-driven and multidisciplinary teams.

Essential/Primary Duties, Functions and Responsibilities:

-           Perform expression and purification of antibodies using standard AKTA purification methods

-           Design and construct bispecific molecules

-           Analyze sequences using molecular biology tools

-           Work closely with discovery team to incorporate new technologies into the company and support technology integration across teams. Independently analyze data, troubleshoot technical hurdles, propose next steps and solutions, and present data at cross-functional meetings with scientific rigor

- Develop in-depth scientific knowledge in area of research focus, propose new ideas and contribute to project direction intellectually

Qualifications:

- To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor or MS in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering or Biotechnology with 1-2 years’ industry experience

-possessed outstanding communication skills and ability to manage various challenging environment.

- High ethics standard and level of integrity. Commitment to work and corporate goals that will ultimately contribute to patient well-being.
