Amgen is seeking an SDET Lead at our Tampa, FL, or Thousand Oaks, CA location to join the Global Commercial Operations Information Systems group. You will be part of the Patient Support Services (PSP) product team and will be responsible for the quality of the product.

You will conduct requirement analysis, define automation test strategy & design, and lead the effort to guarantee superior outcomes. You will also be required to design an optimal test environment to simulate real-time scenarios via automated test scripts. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with some of the best talents in the industry to create innovative high-quality solutions to meet our Patient and Provider needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Working within an agile product team and collaborating with team members and business team to analyze and understand application requirements, identifying potential gaps in the same.
  • Developing, updating, and maintaining test plans, cases, scripts, and automation for all layers of application testing
  • Executing different levels and types of testing such as smoke, functional, compatibility, performance, and regression tests (manual and automated)
  • Developing and maintaining test data, performing data validation
  • Define Quality Metrics and implement measurements to determine test effectiveness, testing efficiency, and measure the overall quality of the Product.
  • Identifying, researching, and documenting bugs; suggesting possible resolutions and root causes
  • Contributing to process improvements efforts related to all aspects of Software Quality Assurance in an effort to reduce defects and quality issues
  • Manage multi-shore and multi-disciplinary QA teams in the US and other offshore locations
  • Recruit, mentor, coach, and make effective a world-class testing team of professionals with appropriate skills, attitudes, and motivation
  • Daily management of objectives, priorities, trade-offs, and risks with the QA team.
  • Maintain and report product test metrics for all active projects to include code coverage, function coverage, project plans, test cases, and plans
Basic Qualifications

Masters degree and 4 years of Information Systems and/or Computer Science experience

Or

Bachelors degree and 6 years of Information Systems and/or Computer Science experience

Or

Associates degree and 10 years of Information Systems and/or Computer Science experience

Or

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Information Systems and/or Computer Science experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience working as a QA Lead
  • Experience in Salesforce, Selenium WebDriver, Apex or anyone Programming language, JS, SQL, HTML/CSS, Jenkins, Postman, Provar/Katalon, and SOAP U I
  • API / Data or Performance testing experience a must
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Experience with manual and automated testing
  • Experience using JIRA for issue management
  • Good communication skills and fast learner
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic startup environment
  • Experience with the Healthcare domain is a plus
