Global Marketing Senior Manager, US, Customer 360

In this vital role the US Customer 360 Senior Manager will work directly with the Director of US Customer 360 to support and enhance Amgens ability to deliver value to our customers through enhanced personalized customer experiences. This position will work closely with US leadership, Marketing, Medical, and field teams to meet business goals by advancing Amgens customer engagement capabilities across the organization. You will also act as a critical change agent in driving advancements in our customer engagement models across all therapeutic areas.
This position will enable teams harnessing the power of insights, technology, and advanced analytics, and be adept at translating generated insights into intel that informs customer engagement strategy & execution worldwide. The individual in this role will also understand Amgens internal cross-functional customer capabilities, becoming the bridge between regional brands, functions, and global teams. The role will play a critical role in understanding regional priorities and translating into a clear roadmap for the capability pillars like Digital, Data & Analytics, Marketing Excellence, and Field Excellence.
Key Responsibilities:Build and manage a shared roadmap across regional and global teams, identifying gaps in Amgens existing capabilities and prospecting external sources of innovation to address those gaps and enhance Amgens ability to operate in the evolving healthcare ecosystem
Act as a key point of coordination with the regions, brands, and the capability functions to advance omnichannel capabilities
Partner closely with Medical & Commercial leads to build a coordinated approach to embedding new and advanced customer capabilities within Amgen
Build and maintain strong working relationships with key internal and external partners to understand their needs and foster a symbiotic and aligned approach
Elevate capabilities across regions, incorporating components of new skills, technologies, processes, and systems in partnership with the US and global teams
Build strong partnerships with global Commercial, Medical, IS, Digital Health, Compliance, Regulatory, Privacy, and Law to advance capabilities
Provide day to day project management assistance to maintain coordination across deliverables
Play a critical role in shaping communications and change management across the US region and functions

Basic Qualifications:Doctorate degree and 2 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
OR
Masters degree and 4 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
OrBachelors degree and 6 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
OrAssociates Degree and 10 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
OrHigh school diploma / GED and 12 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization
Preferred Qualifications:Strong eye for business, strategic thinking and execution excellence skills honed by in-market experience of marketing and sales
Possesses an understanding of broad, global market dynamics, and the cultural awareness and sensitivity to form relationships and work effectively with colleagues around the world
Ability to think strategically to support key business decisions leveraging data and insights
Experience and strong acumen in brand-planning processes
Established performance record leading key processes along the brand plan continuum from opportunity assessment to insight generation to customer engagement strategies to evaluating performance results
Experience managing external partners such as agencies, consultants, and vendors
Self-Starter and possessing leadership capabilities with little direct supervision
Exceptional project and time management skills
Very strong cross-functional collaboration skills
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Impeccable ethics and integrity and comfort operating in a highly regulated environment
