The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing all material and finished product inventories within the Emergent Camden Warehouse. They are also responsible for oversight of all incoming and outgoing shipments. The Warehouse Manager provides leadership to the Warehouse team, overseeing the allocation and performance of their job functions. Warehousing, Inventory Control, and Distribution activities for the Camden facility in accordance with cGMP regulations. 

 
Essential Functions

•    Oversees all operations with Receiving, Shipping, Work Orders, Inventory Control
•    Manage and maintain the material and finished product inventories in the Camden Warehouses.
•    Manage and control perpetual inventory counting / inventory accuracy checks.
•    Minimize overstocks and removal of obsolete / redundant raw materials to maximize availability of working capital.
•    Ensure incoming product is received and managed appropriately according to procedure.
•    Ensure work orders are correct and fully completed and that all stock has been allocated to the job correctly.
•    Performance of cycle and physical counts to assure inventory accuracy.
•    Provide routine management information on inventory performance.
•    Ensure all records are maintained in accordance with Emergent requirements.
•     Process Change Controls, Deviations, CAPA and CPA’s, as required.
•    Provide system oversight for the MDR process.
•    Demonstrate leadership by ensuring decision making and communication are focused on Emergent’s vision and values.
•    Influence, interpret and implement policies and regulatory requirements as directed by the Senior Leadership team.
•    Responsible for maintaining an organized, safe warehouse environment
•    Knowledge in Five S organizational methodology
•    Responsible for maintaining an organized, safe warehouse environment

•    Facilitate Material system for documenting proper destruction of material as required
•    Actively promotes Supply Chain objective throughout the organization

 

Education, Experience & Skills

•    At least 5 years Supply Chain Management experience or
•    Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management
•    Knowledgeable in DOT and Dangerous Goods Shipping regulations
•    Knowledgeable in export documentation and controls
•    Knowledgeable in Five S methodology
•    Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
•    Prior biopharmaceutical experience preferred
•    SAP experience preferred 
•    Strong negotiation skills
•    Leadership qualities and skills
•    Strong industry knowledge and ability to act upon changes in the environment
•    Familiar with ERP Systems
•    Demonstrates continuous learning and application of teamwork principles
