What you will do

Lets do this. Lets change the world. In this vital role you will work in the Attribute Impact Group in the Department of Biological Relevance and Characterization. You will be investigating the impact of key product quality attributes on the safety and efficacy of biotherapeutics.

  • Perform ground breaking research that evaluates the impact of attributes on various quality aspects of drug products using a combination of immunology, protein chemistry, and molecular biology.
  • Apply knowledge throughout the drug product development life-cycle to develop novel therapeutics to treat a variety of diseases.
  • Serve as a biotherapeutic attribute subject matter expert and interact with and support project teams across Amgen sites.
  • Publish and present at national/international conference

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree

OR

Masters degree & 4 years of cell biology, molecular biology, immunology or biochemistry experience

OR

Bachelors degree & 6 years of cell biology, molecular biology, immunology or biochemistry experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive experimental experience: immune and cellular assays, mammalian tissue culture, analytical methods, and molecular biology techniques
  • Knowledgeable in protein chemistry, biotherapeutics, antibodies, drug product attributes, and drug product development
  • Independent, creative, strong leadership skills, collaborative, and excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to collaborate in cross-functional environment
  • Highly innovative and able to craft and execute new assays/technologies
