Job Details

We are seeking a PhD scientist with strong background in immunology and molecular biology to join the Bispecific Antibodies Group. This position will be part of a highly innovative team working on alternative format antibodies and immunocytokines. We need an individual to lead technology development efforts on novel format therapeutics across multiple therapeutic areas. The candidate will also collaborate with team members on pre-clinical development of bispecific antibodies and cytokine therapeutics for immuno-oncology indications. Responsibilities include molecular design, in vitro validation, and early stage in vivo efficacy studies of these novel format therapeutics. 

As a Scientist, a typical day may include the following:

 

-  Design novel format antibodies and cytokine fusion proteins.

-  Validate novel format therapeutics in vitro using biochemical and cell-based assays.

-  Conduct efficacy and mechanistic studies in vivo using murine tumor models.

-  Apply expertise in immunology to support research efforts on immunocytokines and novel format therapeutics.

-  Collaborate with scientists from diverse functional groups to advance the development of novel format therapeutics.

-  Present data at group meetings and to senior management.

-  Author documents for regulatory filings, patent applications, and scientific publications.

-  Supervise junior team members as needed.

To be considered for this position, you must have PhD in Immunology, Molecular biology, Biochemistry or a related field with 3-6 years of post-doctoral or industry experience in the relevant fields. We are searching for a candidate with a strong background and research experience in immunology and molecular biology. We are requiring expertise in molecular design and cloning, and multiparameter flow cytometry. Experience in antibody/protein engineering and in vivo mouse models is highly desirable.
