Lets do this. Lets change the world! In this vital role you will The Sr Marketing Manager will report to the Marketing Director and will be a key member of the Neulasta and Biosimilar US Brand Team. This role will require cross-functional leadership, excellent teamwork and communication skills, a passion for patients, and a commitment to excellence in strategy and execution. This is a unique role that would allow the incumbent to lead financial deliverables at the same time retains elements of a promotional marketing role.

The Sr. Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading the cross functional process for development of the US Local Product Strategy (LPS) for Neulasta and Biosimilars. The LPS will serve as the foundational compass from which the Sr. Manager will ensure seamless pull through of strategy across disciplines and development/tracking of key performance indicators to measure brand success at the strategic and tactical level. The Sr. Manager will serve as the primary point in partnering with Commercial Data and Analytics (CDNA) and Finance to help develop the annual Long Range Plan (LRP), Latest Estimate (LE) forecasts, Brand Plan, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR). They will also analyze customer brand/competitive product utilization, contract performance, and market trends to identify further opportunities for growth, as well as areas for course correction where necessary. The Sr. Manager will also have accountability toward the development and tracking of brand strategy, including preparing for senior leadership review. The Senior manager will also serve as the lead for operational budget management. In addition the Sr. Manager will also lead the strategy and execution of key promotional initiatives designed for HCP activation by utilizing real world evidence based data on safety and efficacy. This includes developing HCP tactical plans and supporting metrics to gauge and measure performance.

Remote workers considered. Some travel will be required.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and champion LPS for Neulasta, Mvasi, Kanjinti and Riabni

  • Strategic/financial/tactical development/tracking

  • Analysis of customer brand/competitor performance, as well as contract performance

  • Lead LRP, LE/forecast, quarterly business review processes

  • Coordinate with US Medical, commercial data & analytics, Finance and other cross functional partners

  • Budget owner/tracking/cross functional allocation

  • Drive development and implementation of an innovative HCP activation strategy to engage and mobilize treating physicians to choose Neulasta and Amgen Biosimilars brands for appropriate patients

  • Develop breakthrough creative across channels, ensuring close collaboration with other consumer, HCP and Access marketing leaders and harmony with existing campaigns

  • Effectively manage agency relationships and activities with HCP AOR and other identified vendor partners

  • Own budget and performance accountability for applicable tactics and initiatives

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree and 2 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Or

Masters degree and 4 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Or

Bachelors degree and 6 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Or

Associates Degree and 10 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Or

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Outstanding analytical skills

  • Previous management consulting experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills

  • Exemplary cross functional/ team leadership and collaboration

  • Strong ability to translate complex data/information into simple, meaningful insights
