Project Specialist- External Manufacturing

We are currently looking to fill a Project Specialist, External Manufacturing with a first shift, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm schedule. Regeneron successfully manufactures a range of biopharmaceuticals for patients worldwide, including our approved therapeutic proteins and those involved in clinical studies. This role will be focused on supporting novel technology platforms, including viral vector gene therapy and RNAi therapeutics. Our External Manufacturing Project Managers ensure that drug product projects are being executed according to an overall life cycle management strategy. They collaborate with cross-functional departments as well as Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) to plan, manage and drive project activities within agreed quality, scope, budget and time.

As a Project Specialist, External Manufacturing, a typical day might include the following:

• Functioning as project lead on at least one well defined External Manufacturing drug product sub-project.
• Maintaining and executing EMPM project plans, timelines, agendas, resourcing requirements, rolling summaries, baselining, and other tools required to facilitate planning and coordination of deliverables for each assigned EM project.
• Utilizing basic project management techniques to develop and maintain planning tools (Spreadsheets, MS Project, etc.) in support of projects in order to facilitate standardization and coordination across functional areas.
• Developing working relationships with department leaders, line managers, and individuals within each functional group utilizing open communication skills.
• Implementing tools used by the EM Project teams, maintaining accuracy of planning files and project update reports for all assigned projects.
• Developing and maintaining the organizational structure of shared databases, identifying and implementing additional solutions in order to improve information sharing processes.

To be considered for the Project Specialist, External Manufacturing Project Management you must hold a Bachelor's degree, physical / life science or engineering preferred and 2+ years of experience. We highly prefer background and experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biopharmaceutical industry including project management related experience. CAPM, PMP certification or MBA is a plus. Level is determined based on qualifications relevant to the role.
