As a Senior Creative Operations Manager, you will work with the leadership of Medical Affairs Insights & Value (I&V) to optimally build and operationally manage our in-house creative team.

Through a combination of process, staffing, and in-house/agency best practices for structure, implementation and reporting, this role will be key in the continued development and daily management and output of our high-performance team and its creative capabilities. You will guide projects/lead personnel in their efforts to define and articulate the value that Medical Affairs teams deliver. You will contribute heavily to the development of I&V's overall annual plan.

A typical day may include:
  • Collaborating to develop strategic and tactical plans for improving the awareness, understanding and perception of Medical Affairs, using your in-depth, relevant experience and knowledge to articulate value on behalf of the organization.
  • Actively contributing to the development/implementation our growth plan, helping to define goals and ensure departmental organization and productivity.
  • Build, supervise, and lead the team responsible for creative concepting and design. Oversee operations and design production functions of the team. You will own talent development, coaching, and vision-setting.
  • Contributing to comprehensive, integrated and ongoing awareness strategies - with a special emphasis on highly-conceptual, digital campaigns - supporting them with compelling creative to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Cultivating a wide range of partner partnerships including peer teams, internal customers, and external agency contacts.
  • Developing and successfully implementing scalable tools, resources, and systems such as digital asset management platforms, templatization, and tool kits.
  • Optimizing our talent, processes, and technology to improve creative products and achieve the highest possible quality.
  • Identifying effective metrics and KPIs to judge the success of creative projects and develop feedback loops for continuous improvement and iteration
  • Fostering strategic alignment around MA's value proposition and key messaging.
  • Identifing and engage appropriate resources for the execution of approved plans. Work to oversee and formally evaluate the professional performance of assigned personnel or vendors.

This may be for you if you:
  • Are adept at identifying key opportunities or gaps in a creative team and have successfully implemented solutions that achieved transformational outcomes.
  • Are skilled at connecting with consumers and solving problems that redefine categories.
  • Have the ability to present sophisticated ideas/information, results, and outcomes to every level of executive management, in a compelling and unified way.
  • Have strong knowledge of creative and content production workflows for cross-functional projects.
  • Are experienced onboarding and managing a bench of external partners to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

To be considered for this you must have a Bachelors degree as well as 10+ years' experience on the creative/operational side of an advertising agency or in-house agency, with 5+ years leading a cross-functional design team. Your experience needs to include managing creative teams through all stages of discovery, creative development, pitch, production and wrap-up, including deep knowledge of digital campaign development and deliverables. Pharma/Healthcare experience required.
