The Role: 
We are seeking an outstanding Research Associate/Senior Research Associate to join our flow cytometry team. This role will be responsible for supporting the development, execution, and data analysis of flow cytometry assays from early discovery to clinical-stage programs.  
  
 
What You Will Do:
  • Design, develop, and implement high- and low-complexity flow cytometry panels for discovery, pre-clinical and clinical studies  
  • Isolate mononuclear cells and process for flow cytometry and downstream applications 
  • Be responsible for instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation of the flow sorters, analyzers, and other instrumentation in the lab. 
  • Participate in cross-functional collaborations with multiple groups to advance broad company goals and objectives  
  • Contribute flow cytometry expertise and technical guidance to cross-disciplinary teams  


What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor’s (+ 5 years of related lab experience) or Masters (+ 2 years of related lab experience) in Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology or a closely related field  
  • Experience with multi-parametric flow cytometry assays using primary human whole blood, bone marrow aspirates, isolated cells or mammalian cell lines 
  • 2+ years of experience in flow cytometry including processing, acquiring, sorting and analyzing (FlowJo) pre-clinical and clinical samples  
  • Familiar with a variety of models and brands of flow cytometers and cell sorters 
  • Proven ability to independently plan and execute experiments, interpret, and analyze data 
  • Proven ability to present results and findings in formal settings including project team meetings 
  • Proven ability to write scientific and technical reports or create poster presentations 
  • Ability to quickly learn new skills and knowledge on the job, demonstrate productivity and deliver high-quality results  
  • Must be detailed oriented, well organized, and have strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) 
  • Ability to positively impact company culture and demonstrate flexibility in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary, collaborative, matrix environment
