ROLE SUMMARY

The Associate Training, Growth and Communications is responsible for supporting strategies and programs to provide consistent training and communication to the Logistics Center that drive Colleague engagement and support Colleague Growth throughout their career with Pfizer.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the direction of the manager the incumbent is expected to:

  • Conduct needs assessments and works with leaders to develop training, communication, and growth programs.
  • Consults on continuous improvement for training methodologies and processes.
  • Consults with Quality and Operations teams on training and growth programs to drive excellence across the site.
  • Coordinates projects, teams, and training events in collaboration with other training colleagues and leadership.
  • Accountable for implementation and sustainability of the foundational Training System Elements as well as providing the knowledge and skills to continuously improve site training programs. The Associate will develop, review, and implement programs and procedures to assure colleague competency by role.
  • Accountable for implementing and sustaining site communications programs that drive colleague engagement and support a positive culture.
  • Using available corporate resources, support and implement colleague growth programs that support Pfizer Values and bold moves. Act as facilitator for some programs as appropriate, and act as project manager for development and deployment of all growth programs.
  • Develop metrics/scorecard to measure effectiveness of programs
  • Serves as back-up to Training Group Leader in all training administrative functions (PLS, PDOCs, etc.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS Degree preferred with 2 years applicable experience in a related field or equivalent
  • Knowledge of logistic center operations
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office600, Adobe, and other publishing software
  • Prior experience with facilitating groups and communicating with all levels of the organization

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent knowledge in Learning Management Systems and documentation systems
  • Train the Trainer (TTT) certified
  • Understanding of adult learning principles and application

Able to sit or stand for long periods of time facilitating classes

Ability to perform complex data analysis

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

Typically, first shift, but may require some off-hours and weekends to accommodate classes.

Possible occasional travel, but very infrequent.
