What you will do

Lets do this. Lets change the world! In this vital role you will lead all market research initiatives as well as performance tracking primarily on XGEVA and Nplate, and other inline brands as needs arise. This is a high visibility role with exposure to key brands and their business questions within the Oncology Business Unit, and will be part of a high performing, dynamic team with opportunities to learn and grow constantly. Senior Manager will report into the Oncology Commercial Insights Director

Key Responsibilities
  • Address key business questions and develop actionable insights by designing and leading market research and analytics projects

  • Communicate research findings to senior leadership effectively and inspire growth through actionable, compelling insights

  • Proactively identify key business questions that need to be addressed to meet changing business needs; structure research and analytics plans to address complex questions and consistently engage in thought partnership

  • Prioritize research resources to impact critical business issues and decisions

  • Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with best-in-class insights vendors and consistently look for opportunities to purposefully innovate

  • Ensure that both routine and ad-hoc projects are in compliance with all Amgen SOPs and meet service-level expectations for quality, timeliness, and budget

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree 2 years of market research and/or analytics experience

Or

Masters degree and 4 years of market research and/or analytics experience

Or

Bachelors degree and 6 years of market research and/or analytics experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Extensive marketing research experience across a broad range of study designs (quant, qual etc.,) and participant types

  • US in-line product experience - oncology experience highly desired

  • Demonstrated exceptional strategic / critical thinking abilities, organization skills and business acumen

  • Excellent oral and written presentation skills with ability to explain complex concepts clearly to a variety of audiences

  • Ability to work collaboratively in team-based environment as well as take ownership of projects independently

  • Ability to balance multiple projects, stakeholders and workstreams simultaneously

  • Proficient facilitation, negotiation, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
